Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Sequana handles information submitted through our public website and the Sequana Fingerprint Navigator plugin.
Who is responsible
Sequana PI Agency, Paris, France, is responsible for the information described here. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to [email protected].
Information we receive
- Appointment and enquiry details you choose to submit, such as your name, email, phone number, preferred date, service purpose, and message.
- Limited technical and security information processed by our hosting, network, and abuse-prevention providers, such as IP address, request time, and error logs.
- For Fingerprint Navigator tool calls: the country, requesting authority, non-personal wording of the requirement, service choice, language, and scheduling preferences you provide.
Information the Navigator does not need
Do not send passport images, fingerprint images, completed fingerprint cards, case numbers, visa application numbers, addresses, names, email addresses, or phone numbers to the Navigator. Its public MCP tools are designed not to request those fields.
How we use information
- To answer enquiries and assess whether we provide the requested fingerprint service.
- To process and confirm appointment requests.
- To protect the service, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
- To improve service instructions using aggregated, non-identifying patterns.
Sharing and international processing
We use service providers for hosting, security, communications, and database operations. They process information only to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law. Some infrastructure providers may process technical data outside France or the European Economic Area under their applicable safeguards.
Retention
We keep enquiry and appointment records only for as long as needed to handle the request and meet applicable legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution obligations. Technical logs are retained according to the shortest practical settings available from the relevant infrastructure provider. We do not use the Navigator to create a database of passport or fingerprint images.
Your rights
Depending on the applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or object to certain processing. Contact [email protected]. You may also contact the CNIL, the French data-protection authority.
Changes
We may update this policy when the service or its providers change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
