Avoid the wrong appointment

This is not Canadian visa biometrics

Visa-application biometrics are collected through the location designated by IRCC. A C-216C card is used for the separate Canadian criminal-record-check process.

How the Canadian process works from France

  1. 1

    Confirm the authority’s request

Check the letter or instructions that asked for the Canadian criminal record check. This service is not the biometrics appointment for a Canadian visa application.

  2. 2

    Choose an accredited Canadian company

From outside Canada, the paper card must be digitized and submitted electronically to the RCMP by an accredited company in Canada.

  3. 3

    Book in Paris

Choose an available appointment at 26 place du Marché Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris and select the RCMP service so the correct C-216C form is prepared.

  4. 4

    Bring your documents

Bring your valid passport, the authority’s request letter, and any instructions from the accredited Canadian company.

  5. 5

    Have the prints taken

We take and quality-check the rolled and flat ink impressions. The appointment is €150 TTC per person and takes about 45 minutes.
